La Cultora is a non-profit association which promotes innovative actions and projects within the Cultural and Creative Industries, promoting entrepreneurship and new ways of working an positive social innovation. La Cultora was selected in 2016 by "Madrid Emprende" and the IESE business school. This association promotes actions in 3 main areas:
Cultural and Creatives Industries (ICC) –as a strategic sector of competitiveness, social cohesion and employment. The association supports training and professionals promoting personal entrepreneurship projects. La Cultora has developed a Master in Management of Cultural Heritage in cooperation with Universidad Complutense de Madrid, has ran a creative incubator in Madrid and has developed programs regards to intangible cultural heritage.
New Way Of Working (NWOW) - soft skills, collaboration, informal and open innovation. In this area, the objective is to build new professional spaces needed in intermediate stages of professional development. La Cultora works to create communities and networks where people develop projects creating new opportunities.
Positive social innovation (IS) - Culture as an instrument of social transformation. La Cultora aims to make visible the extent to which cultural actions contribute to positive and sustainable changes for the benefit of society. The culture as an instrument of awareness and social action for issues of national and international scope, with special attention to the promotion of Sustainable Development Goals, Human Rights and the Culture of Peace.
