DAISSy Research Group of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), Greek project partner of the project “Skills for promotion, valorisation, exploitation, mediation and interpretation of European Cultural Heritage – EUHeritage” invites you to attend online the Final International Conference “New skills for cultural heritage & tourism” on the 17^thof December 2021 at 10.00 – 13.00 CET.

The Final Conference of the European project EUHeritage will take place live in Matera (Basilicata, Italy) with invited speakers, Dr. Achilles Kameas and Mrs. Panagiota Polymeropoulou, DAISSy research group – Hellenic Open University.

EUHeritage is a transnational project developed under Erasmus+ EU program (Sector Skills Alliance for Design and Delivery of VET) coordinated by Materahub. The project created a new transnational curriculum for cultural heritage professionals, focused on digital skills, transferable and transversal competences, soft skills and skills connected to “experience tourism” in the field of cultural heritage. The project deployed a cross-sectoral and multidisciplinary methodology in order to connect the heritage sectors with tourism, technology, Creative and Cultural industries, entrepreneurship & business.

Το έργο EUHeritage στην επιτυχημένη εκδήλωση «Επιχειρείν με εφαλτήριο τον πολιτισμό» της ερευνητικής ομάδας DAISSy του ΕΑΠ

Ολοκληρώθηκε με επιτυχία η διαδικτυακή εκδήλωση με τίτλο «Η Πολιτιστική Κληρονομιά ως εφαλτήριο επιχειρηματικότητας», που διοργάνωσε στις 29 Νοεμβρίου 2021 η ερευνητική ομάδα DAISSy του Ελληνικού Ανοικτού Πανεπιστημίου, με την υποστήριξη του συλλόγου «Ο Ιπποκράτης στη Λάρισα».

Στην εκδήλωση πολλοί ήταν οι προσκεκλημένοι ομιλητές από την πολή της Λάρισας, που εκπροσώπησαν το χώρο του πολιτισμού, του τουρισμού και της επιχειρηματικής δραστηριότητας και είχαν την ευκαιρία να παρουσιάσουν στρατηγικές, προγράμματα κατάρτισης και παραδείγματα καλών πρακτικών επιχειρηματικότητας στην προβολή και αξιοποίηση του πολιτισμικού αποθέματος καθώς και στην ενίσχυση του τουριστικού προϊόντος. Η εκδήλωση απευθυνόταν σε επαγγελματίες πολιτισμού, διαχειριστές στον τομέα του πολιτισμού και τουρισμού, παρόχους επαγγελματικής εκπαίδευσης και κατάρτισης, συμβούλους επιχειρήσεων, διαχειριστές μικρομεσαίων επιχειρήσεων στον πολιτισμό και τουρισμό, φορείς που λαμβάνουν αποφάσεις, εκπροσώπους δήμων και πολιτιστικών συλλόγων καθώς και σε φοιτητές και αποφοίτους στον πολιτισμό και τουρισμό, και κράτησε αμείωτο το ενδιαφέρον των συμμετεχόντων για αρκετές ώρες.

Για το έργο EUHeritage και το διαδικτυακό πρόγραμμα κατάρτισης MOOC που αναπτύχθηκε και προσφέρθηκε στο πλαίσιο του έργου, ελκύοντας περισσότερες από 1000 εγγραφές από όλο τον κόσμο και με σημαντικό ποσοστό επιτυχούς ολοκλήρωσης του μαθήματος από την Ελληνική πλευρά, μίλησε η κ. Παναγιώτα Πολυμεροπούλου, Ερευνήτρια στο έργο EUHeritage, στην ερευνητική ομάδα DAISSy Research Group του ΕΑΠ.

Στην ομιλία της με τίτλο «Πολιτισμός, Τουρισμός και Επιχειρηματικότητα μέσα από το έργο EUHeritage» τόνισε το υψηλό ενδιαφέρον που εκδηλώνει πάντοτε η Ελλάδα, για τα προγράμματα κατάρτισης και τη δια βίου μάθηση με θέματα τη διαχείριση, προβολή και αξιοποίηση της πολιτισμικής κληρονομιάς, τις ψηφιακές δεξιότητες καθώς και την αρχαιολογία και τα μουσεία.

Για το πιλοτικό πρόγραμμα που ολοκληρώθηκε σε εθνικό επίπεδο για την Ελλαδα και την πρακτική εκμάθηση του εργαλείου « Experience design canvas για τους επαγγελματίες του πολιτισμού και τουρισμού στην Ελλάδα», μίλησε η συνεργάτιδα του έργου EUHeritage και εκπαιδεύτρια – συντονίστρια του πιλοτικού, κ. Ζωή Ακριβούλη, Οικονομολόγος-Σύμβουλος Επιχειρήσεων και Ανάπτυξης, Ερευνήτρια DAISSy Research Group, Ελληνικό Ανοικτό Πανεπιστήμιο.

Την εκδήλωση χαιρέτησαν με ενθουσιασμό και τα τοπικά μέσα ενημέρωσης από την πόλη της Λάρισας, με αναρτήσεις και δελτία τύπου για την εκδήλωση, τονίζοντας τη σημασία της επιχειρηματικότητας στον πολιτισμό και τουρισμό.

Θα θέλαμε να ευχαριστήσουμε όλους τους προσκεκλημένους/ες ομιλητές/ τριες με τις ενδιαφέρουσες παρουσιάσεις τους καθώς και τους συμμετέχοντες/ουσες για την υποστήριξή τους. Σε όλους τους εγγεγραμένους της φόρμας, απεστάλη η βεβαίωση συμμετοχής.

The recruitment for our National Pilots has now started!

Once finalized the first edition of our Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), we are now preparing our National Pilot events. This will be an opportunity to put our training into practice by using a hands-on approach and co-creative teaching and learning methodologies.

For the EU Heritage National Pilots we are looking for a diverse combination of emerging professionals and students. The selection will be based on: your knowledge and experience on cultural heritage, cultural tourism, the cultural and creative industries or related fields; your idea for a prototype; and your motivation and applicability of the learning.

If you are based in one of our partners’ countries (Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Romania and Spain) and are interested in continuing expanding your knowledge and experience in the field of cultural heritage, cultural tourism or cultural and creative industries, please complete the corresponding recruitment form below and we will get back to you.

On Monday, June 14^th of 2021, the DAISSy research group of the Hellenic Open University organized the Greek online event entitled «Valorization and promotion of Cultural Heritage», in order to disseminate the results of the European project S.I.L.V.HER.

In the first part of the multiplier event, were presented the objectives as well as the blended training SILVHER course designed and delivered for University students of Italy, Porugal and Turkey. The platform for the online part of SILVHER course was developed by the DAISSy – HOU (Greek partner)..

On the 3nd March 2021, at 17:00 CET, EDEN NAP organized a webinar entitled “Online educational courses on cultural topics – helping the Creative Industries sector reinvent itself during a crisis”. The webinar proposed to present innovative pedagogical trends, of MOOCs created around the topic of digital cultural heritage. The study cases demonstrated how these courses are created in order to have a better interaction with students remotely in synchronous and asynchronous ways. Achilles Kameas, Professor of the Hellenic Open University (HOU) and Director of DAISSy research group of HOU, presented to 50 registered participants the EUHerit project and its objectives, one of the SSA projects that HOU participates in as partner from Greece.

On Thursday, December 10^th 2020, the Greek event on “The DELTA project and digital skills in the field of Culture and Archeology” was held online through the MS Teams platform with great success within the European project DELTA. The event was organized by the DAISSy research team of the Hellenic Open University (HOU), with the participation of the Department of History and Archeology of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA).

9th ENCATC Members Talk on “Cross-disciplinarity and Innovation in Cultural Heritage Training”

The 9th ENCATC Members Talk on “Cross-disciplinarity and Innovation in Cultural Heritage Training” on 25 September from 14:30-15:30 (CEST) will bring together members of ENCATC, AAAE, TACPS, and representatives of EU projects researching and developing innovative training schemes for cultural heritage professionals.

This conversation, which will be moderated by ENCATC member, Alberto Gulli, Head of Training at Fitzcarraldo Foundation, aims to discuss about the gaps in training and how to adapt to new demands in the new normal.

For this edition, ENCATC invited Erminia Sciacchitano, Officer – Minister’s Cabinet presso Italian Ministry for Culture, Heritage and Tourism along with special guests from EU heritage projects: Emmanuele Curti, Materahub, Italy; coordinator of the EU Heritage project; Karin Drda-Kühn, Kultur und Arbeit e.V., Germany; coordinator of the HERITAGE-PRO project; and Joanna Sanetra-Szeliga, the International Cultural Centre (ICC), Poland; coordinator of the ILUCIDARE project on behalf of ICC.

This event is proposed by ENCATC member Fitzcarraldo Fondazione in the framework of the Erasmus+ EU Heritage project, aimed to create a new transnational curriculum for cultural heritage professionals, focused on digital skills, transferable and transversal competences, soft skills and skills connected to “experience tourism” in the field of cultural heritage.
